How we design

Great design begins with structured ideas. We use these to create functionality in the rooms, determine the floor plan, layout, & partitions of your home. These preliminary plans will define how you engage with the space around you. In every room, we aim to evoke emotion with rich materials, engage senses through sensuous textures, and fascinate you with intricate detail. The are many ways to achieve these goals: the use of multiple layers & dimensions, keeping the eye wondering to new discoveries; spatial flow from room to room; a balance of horizontal & vertical panes; contrasting but complimentary silhouettes; a juxtaposition of light and dark elements; & the clever use of color in unexpected ways. The unconventional creates curiosity and interest.

How we create

Our signature style is a mix of contemporary with touches of eclecticism. We prefer a maximalist approach to a minimalist one, and believe blending styles is far more effective than purist approaches. It’s what makes the difference between a house and a home!
